NEW REPORT CITES PA. FOR INNOVATION, BUT LACK OF OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL

A prominent Washington D.C. think tank has given its assessment of Pennsylvania to offer recommendations for the state’s next governor. The Brookings Institution praises the commonwealth for its many resources for innovation including the work of tech companies, research facilities and its various universities.  But the group also says leaders also have left many areas of the state behind as far as job creation and that efforts to recover after COVID have been sluggish or disproportionate for rural areas.
