PA. DCNR PLEDGES TO SWITCH TO RENEWABLE RESOURCES BY 2030

Leaders at the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources say they’ll increase efforts to use renewable resources within eight years.  The agency said earlier this week that it will switch over to produced or purchased renewable sources to run state and local parks.  As part of the sustainability effort, they’ll also install solar installations at 41 state parks and 116 electric vehicle charging station plugs at state parks and forests.  Some parks are already using wind turbines and solar installations.
