The Monongalia County Board of Education is weighing the decision to have a LGBTQ flag removed from Morgantown High School, with student safety. Earlier this week, more than 100 protested the flags removal outside the BOE office. Those in favor of the flag argue the LGBTQ flag is about a person’s identity and therefore does not violate the political party restrictions on certain flags.
