Maryland State Police are receiving a record number of Maryland Wear-and-Carry Permit applications. It comes after Governor Larry Hogan directed State Police to suspend the ‘good and substantial reason’ standard for Marylanders to carry a firearm. Authorities are reminding everyone that even though you submit an application, that alone doesn’t mean you can carry. Officials say there is a process to getting this done.
