Garrett County residents Ronald Eugene Tasker and Jamie Lavonne Shirley have been charged by the Sheriff’s Office with four counts of child neglect and four counts of contributing to the condition of a child. Both had been arrested earlier in June on felony drug charges, stemming from a year long drug investigation, conducted by Narcotics Division Deputies. Several children were located in the home at the time the search warrant was conducted, which led to the child neglect and related charges. Both were served criminal summonses.
