W.V. STATE UNIVERSITY OPENS CYBERSECURITY CLINIC

West Virginia State University has become the first higher education institution in the state to open a Cybersecurity Clinic.  The clinic, located on the fourth floor of Wallace Hall, was made possible by a one-million-dollar grant from Google’s Cybersecurity Clinics Fund.  WVSU President Ericke Cage says this provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge by working with small businesses and organizations on cybersecurity systems.  Students will have access to Google experts online and various teaching tools available in the cloud.
