Cumberland City Police are investigating an attempted suicide after a man either jumped or fell from the Blue Bridge into the Potomac River early Wednesday evening. The victim was found lying along the river bank, about 200 feet downstream from the bridge. He was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland to treat injuries sustained in the fall.
