The Maryland State Board of Education is under new leadership. Dr. Joshua Michael is now President and Dr. Monica Goldson is Vice President. Dr. Michael is the Executive Director of the Sherman Family Foundation, a Baltimore area non-profit. Dr. Goldson was the former leader of Prince George’s County Public Schools before she retired. Both were voted unanimously into their new roles at a Tuesday meeting.
