The former president of the Frederick County Board of Commissioners is accused of domestic violence. Blaine Young’s wife claims he threatened to shoot her and she alleges that he hit, punched and choked her. According to the Frederick News Post, she tried to get a protective order against him in West Virginia, but that was denied. She also filed for a protective order in Frederick County and a decision on that is pending after a hearing earlier this week. During the hearing, Young denied the gun allegations and said he never physically abused his wife.
