FATHER FORMALLY CHARGED FOLLOWING SON’S DEATH

Warin Torae Foster has posted $20,000 unsecured personal bond, following a bail review hearing in Allegany County District Court, according to the Cumberland Times-News. Foster is being charged in connection with the death of his 5-year-old son, who found an unlocked, loaded handgun in his Glenn Street home and shot himself while playing with it. The youngster later died at UMPC-Western Maryland. He is being charged with manslaughter, reckless endangerment and allowing firearm access to a minor, with more charges expected. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 5th.
