BODY OF 6TH CONSTRUCTION WORKER RECOVERED FROM KEY BRIDGE COLLAPSE SITE

The body of a sixth and final construction worker who went missing following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore has been recovered, six weeks after the tragedy.  The victim is identified as José Mynor López, of Baltimore.  Key Bridge Unified Command salvage divers located López’s body on Tuesday before Maryland State Police, state Transportation Authority officers and the FBI responded to pull the remains from the Patapsco River.  López and five other members of a pothole-patching crew were killed in the early morning hours of March 26th when a cargo ship collided with the bridge, causing it to collapse.
