Early voting for the May 14th election has been lighter than anticipated in the state’s largest county. The early voting period is about at the half-way point, and less than 17-hundred votes have been cast. Nobody was expecting to see the record number of votes in Kanawha County like in November of 2020, but the light turnout is a bit surprising. The early voting period ends on Saturday, ahead of next Tuesday’s Primary Election.
