Federal prosecutors are asking to seize a Florida vacation condominium purchased by former Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby. The Baltimore Sun reports the government intends to sell the property for 476-thousand dollars and, if there are profits from the sale, Mosby would recoup her nearly 48-thousand-dollar down payment. Prosecutors say the condo is forfeitable because Mosby purchased the home with a fraudulently-obtained loan. Earlier this year, Mosby was found guilty of lying on a mortgage application to purchase the home on Florida’s Gulf Coast near Sarasota. Mosby was also convicted on perjury charges and will be sentenced on May 23rd.
