New details are coming to light about how much it will cost and how long it will take to rebuild the Key Bridge. Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefield told the Washington Post yesterday the price tag is nearly two-billion-dollars to replace the collapsed structure. Wiedefield noted that officials are aiming to have the project finished by late 2028. President Biden previously suggested the federal government should cover the costs to rebuild the bridge.
