MARYLAND GOVERNOR: BRIDGE CLEANUP “VERY COMPLEX OPERATION”

Removing the wreckage of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore  is a “very complex operation.”  Maryland Governor Wes Moore told CNN’s State of the Union it will take time to clear the debris and reopen the critical port.  Moore said the closure will impact industries all across the country, as it’s one of the most active ports in the nation.  Cranes are currently removing the wreckage of the fallen bridge and cargo ship.  The huge vessel struck a support pillar on the Francis Scott Key Bride Tuesday causing the deadly collapse.
