The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation and the Cumberland Mayor and City Council agree that, quote, “Cumberland’s vibrant economic future is best entrusted to the CEDC, continuing to build upon the current successes of the independent organization.” The statement goes on to say that Cumberland’s economic boom and thriving downtown area will continue to mature upon the completion of the CEDC’s current capstone project, the multi-year, multi-million-dollar Baltimore Street Revitalization.
