MARYLAND TO HELP SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES FIND HOMES

Maryland leaders have a plan to support older Marylanders and those with disabilities.  The state will participate in the Partnership Accelerator which will help Medicaid-eligible residents with housing.  The program is organized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  Governor Moore said four state agencies are partnering to make the program a success.  Residents in Baltimore City, Cecil, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties have been receiving help from a similar program since 2017.
