MARYLAND CASINO REVENUE DROPS IN JANUARY

Casino review is down in Maryland.  State Lottery and Gaming officials report the state’s six casinos saw a nearly eight-and-a-half-percent drop in proceeds in January compared to the same time last year.  The casinos generated 153-point-two million dollars from slot machines and table games last month, a decrease of about 14-million dollars from January 2023.  The casinos contributed more than 63-million dollars to the state in January, but that was down more than ten-and-half-percent from a year ago.
