PA. GOVERNOR SHAPIRO DELIVERS BUDGET ADDRESS

Governor Josh Shapiro is laying out his spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year.  His 48-point-three-billion-dollar budget proposal invests heavily in education and economic development.  The governor also called for raising the minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour and legalizing recreational marijuana.  The plan was presented today in front of a joint session of the House and Senate in the Capitol Rotunda.  Pennsylvania’s fiscal year begins on July 1st.
