Six Maryland schools are receiving national attention. Each of Maryland’s National Blue Ribbon Schools was recently recognized at a celebration in Washington, D.C. Among the schools were Northeast Elementary in Anne Arundel County and Smithsburg Middle in Washington County. More than 300 schools earned the honor this year.
