HOPKINS HOSPITAL SUSPENDS DOCTOR FOR ANTI-PALESTINE COMMENTS

Johns Hopkins Hospital has placed a doctor accused of posting anti-Palestine social media posts on leave.  Dr. Darren Klugman allegedly wrote on X that Palestinians are “blood thirsty morally depraved animals.”  Klugman apologized in an email to colleagues and called his comments “regrettable and hurtful.”  The Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations has filed a complaint with the Maryland Board of Physicians and is asking for Klugman’s medical license to be suspended.
