PORTION OF LOCH LYNN EVACUATED YESTERDAY MORNING

A portion of Loch Lynn in Garrett County was evacuated early yesterday morning, after a propane tanker overturned at the intersection of Paul Street and Gorman Road. Residents were awakened for evacuation just before 4 a.m., with residents going to the Southern Rescue Squad. Other agencies involved include fire departments from Oakland, Deer Park, Gorman and the Southern Rescue Squad. Others involved were Potomac Edison, the Public Utilities Department, Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
