Mental health and substance use support services are available for military members and veterans. That’s the reminder this morning from MD Health Secretary Laura Herrera Scott. In a video message, Scott said the Trained Military Assistance Provider Program trains healthcare workers to help reduce suicides among those who have served. Veterans and active military can also dial 9-8-8 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line. More information is also available at the state’s website.
