Stephens City, Virginia resident Douglas Jones was killed and six passengers were injured last Saturday, when their SUV traveled off Route 50 and hit a guardrail that smashed through the windshield. The 4:45 p.m. crash occurred near the intersection of Route 50 and Sirbaugh Road. The six passengers were taken to the Winchester Medical Center for treatment, and the accident remains under investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
