After four months, the state’s running total of revenue collections is about 242-million dollars ahead of estimates. The October number came in nearly seven-and-a-half million dollars ahead of projections. The October severance tax collections were actually lower than expected, but as Governor Justice was quick to point out that is a good sign for the state’s overall economy that even with that dip, the overall numbers still came out ahead.
