Westmar Middle School was placed in a “Hold” status due to a medical emergency yesterday. That is used when the hallways need to be kept clear of occupants. The Sheriff’s Office gave the “All Clear” and the instructional day has resumed as normal. And, students and staff of Mount Savage School were evacuated after the report of an odor coming from the gymnasium hearing unit. It was determined the odor was caused by an issue with the exhaust fan. Repairs were made and the “All Clear” was given to return to the building.
