Henry says you should also avoid using cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin. The attorney general also stresses in a statement that it’s very important to research any organization before you donate. Above all, don’t give into pressure. She says most scammers try to create a sense of urgency, so you can recognize that and take a step back, if need be.
