It appears at this point the only obstacle in the way of Governor Justice to win the GOP bid for U.S. Senate is a challenge from Alex Mooney. The governor is now calling for Mooney to withdraw from the primary race. Justice has a sizable lead in the polls, an edge in fundraising and a recent endorsement from former President Trump. Mooney’s campaign manager says he will stay in the race as the “only proven conservative” to vote for.
