SHAPIRO ADDS $4 MILLION TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, NON-PROFIT GROUPS

Governor Josh Shapiro is making four-million-dollars available for workforce development projects in the state. He says the money will boost training and employment in agriculture, information technology and robotics as well as other key industries such as health care, transportation and manufacturing. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry says money will be distributed through businesses and workforce organizations that will each receive 250-thousand-dollars each.
