MARYLAND SENATOR BEN CARDIN RECOVERING FROM COVID

Maryland U.S. Senator Ben Cardin is recovering from COVID.  Cardin tested positive for the virus following his 80th birthday celebration on October 6 and he had mild symptoms.  Cardin, who chairs the Foreign Relations Committee, missed a few events over the past week but since the Senate was in recess, no votes were missed.  Cardin was able to take part in committee meetings through phone calls and video chats.
