MORGAN STATE CANCELS HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES

Several homecoming events will not take place at Morgan State University this week.  Five people were shot on campus late Tuesday night.  President David K. Wilson decided to cancel the pep rally, homecoming parade, Saturday’s game and other festivities to focus on healing.  In a message, Wilson asked the entire Morgan community to keep the injured students in their thoughts.  Dozens of people gathered on campus yesterday for a prayer vigil.  Police still aren’t sure of a motive in this case.
