The fall forest fire season started this week, which means different open fire burn restrictions. Any controlled outdoor burning must take place in the nighttime hours between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Typically, there is higher humidity and calmer winds after dark. This burn schedule will be in place until December 31st.
