FARMER’S ALMANAC RELEASES WINTER FORECAST FOR PENNSYLVANIA

Pennsylvanian’s may want to be prepared for a cold and stormy winter this year.  The Farmers’ Almanac has released its prediction for the winter of 2023 to 2024, and conditions across Pennsylvania are expected to be cold and snowy.  The almanac says an El Niño system could bring higher-than-normal moisture to the state late this year and early next year.  It is predicted that there will be a blizzard and several big storms.  The Farmers’ Almanac has been used since 1818 and their predictions are based on a formula that uses sunspot activity, moon phases, and planet positions to determine its forecast.
