PSC HEARINGS THIS WEEK IN WEST VIRGINIA

The West Virginia Public Service Commission will begin hearing the case of how two power companies can recover some of their operating costs.  Appalachian Power and Wheeling Power have been arguing for the past couple of years that their costs to create electricity have increased astronomically.  Appalachian Power has proposed a couple of long-term solutions to recover their growing costs, more than just increasing the rates for consumers.  The commission expects to take most of this week to hear the details of their cost recovery plans.
