Maryland is making it easier for people to take their learner’s permit test. Starting next month, the Maryland Driver’s Manual as well as the permit test will be offered in nine additional languages. Joining the list includes Portuguese and Arabic. There will also be an automated testing system for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It’ll bring the total number of languages to 17.
