BOARD NAMED TO OVERSEE OPIOID SETTLEMENT MONEY

Among the names of those added to the board to oversee the distribution of opioid settlement money in West Virginia is the wife of Marshall University President Brad Smith.  Alys Smith will be joined by Jefferson County Prosecutor Matt Harvey, former state Homeland Security Secretary Jeff Sandy, Harrison County schools Superintendent Dora Stutler and Raleigh County Commissioner Greg Duckworth. The 11-member West Virginia First Foundation will manage the one-billion-dollar settlement fund.
