Garrett County law enforcement authorities are seeking the public’s help in gathering details about a shooting incident that happened Monday evening between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. There are indications the shooting was fatal. The incident took place in the 3000 to 4000-block of Cranesville Road, west of the downtown Oakland area, near the West Virginia State line.
