COUPLE, YOUNG SON IDENTIFIED IN APPARENT TOWSON MURDER-SUICIDE

Investigators in Towson say the deaths of a couple and a young boy in a home in Towson Friday were apparently the result of a murder-suicide.  Police had responded to the home on Kenilworth Drive for a welfare check.  Inside the home, they found the bodies of a couple — both aged 37 — and a six-year-old boy.  Police say one of the adults apparently shot the other two and then turned the gun on himself.  The victims are identified as Yogesh Nagarajappa, Prathiba Amarnath and the child — Yash Honnal.  Their relationships to one another has not been explained.  In a statement, County Executive Johnny Olszewski says anyone who is going through a mental health crisis is urged to call 9-8-8.
