MD. HEALTH UNVEILS NEW PROGRAM FOR PREGNANT AND PARENTING WOMEN

Nearly 30-thousand women with children have opioid use or substance use disorders in Maryland.  That’s why Maryland Health has created a new program to provide support to women.  Health personnel are calling this “Strengthening Families in Recovery” and it’ll be offered in four counties, including Washington and Anne Arundel.  Women can get help with their credit, food stamp assistance and learn how to clear their criminal record as well.  Baltimore City women also have access to the program.
