MAN RECEIVES FIVE-YEAR PRISON SENTENCE FOR RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Clayton Harlee Bennich of Frostburg was sentenced to five years in prison, after pleading guilty earlier this summer on a charge of first-degree burglary. He and a co-conspirator were indicted after they allegedly broke into a Savage River Road residence, allegedly stealing a dirt bike, pistol, and various designer bags  and shoes. The value of the stolen items totaled nearly $14,000. Bennich will be placed on probation following his release.
