South Mechanic Street, between Baltimore Street and Pershing, will be closed to thru traffic from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. tomorrow. As part of the utility work, a water outage will take place in certain areas, including South Liberty Street, between Baltimore Street and Harrison Street, and Canal Street, including Canal Place. Water should be restored by 6 p.m. Traffic is expected to be restored on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Additional information will be released in the event the closure duration needs to be extended.
