ALSOBROOKS LAUNCHES U.S. SENATE BID

Another candidate is jumping into the race to succeed outgoing Maryland Senator Ben Cardin.  Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks officially launched her bid today in a video released on social media.  If elected, Alsobrooks would become Maryland’s first Black woman to serve in the Senate.  She is the fourth Democrat to enter the race after Maryland Congressman David Trone, Montgomery County Councilman Will Jawando and Bread and Roses Socialist Party founder Jerome Segal announced plans to run.
