Maryland’s sports betting program is celebrating its strongest month yet thanks to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament known as March Madness. State lottery officials report over 370-million dollars in wagers were made last month through the state’s eight mobile sportsbooks. Maryland’s ten retail sportsbooks brought in over 15-million dollars. The retail and mobile sportsbooks combined to generate a single-month record of five-point-three-million dollars in contributions to education funding in the state.
