Anyone who needs a smoke alarm should contact the Red Cross. The Red Cross of the National Capital and Greater Chesapeake Region will begin installing smoke alarms in homes later this month. It’s part of the “Sound the Alarm” campaign. Smoke alarms are free for all Marylanders and details can be found online.
