Some Pennsylvania residents are part of lawsuit that’s being filed against General Motors. A U.S. District Judge in Michigan granted class action certification Monday on behalf of nearly 40 people in 26 states. The action accuses GM of knowingly selling cars with faulty transmissions, while being fully aware of the defects and safety concerns. The eight-speed automatic gear systems allegedly cause lurching and shuddering in some models made between 2015 and 2019.
