TWO W.V. EMPLOYEES CHARGED IN COVID UNEMPLOYMENT SCAM

Two employees of a Morgantown dental clinic that was forced to close for a short time at the start of the COVID pandemic are facing fraud charges.  Federal investigators allege that Amanda Kincell and Casey Fike applied for unemployment when the clinic closed in March of 2020.  But when the pair returned to work at the clinic two months later, they continued to file and collect fraudulent benefits of nearly 30-thousand-dollars. If convicted, they could face a lengthy prison term.
