Cumberland resident Michelle Lynn Porter was served with a criminal summons, stemming from an assault that occurred last Sunday at a residence in the 700-block of Baker Street. During an altercation, it was alleged that Porter punched the victim in the face. She was later released, pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
