Victims of sexual abuse in the Diocese of Harrisburg are closer to receiving compensation. Wednesday, a bankruptcy court confirmed plans of reorganization for the diocese. Part of the 18-million dollar bankruptcy settlement will go to victims while a portion will go toward creating safeguards to prevent future abuse. More than 60 claims were made by survivors during the proceedings.
