COVID-19 hospitalizations are down in Maryland. The State health departments reports 502 people hospitalized with COVID, compared to nearly 900 a month ago. Overall, the state added nearly 600 cases to its running tally, along with 12 additional virus-related deaths. The state’s positivity rate is down to nearly ten-percent, after it had risen to more than 15-percent in early January.
