Cumberland resident Shakur Maliq Trimble has been charged with embezzlement from a Queen City Drive business. The alleged crime was discovered when the owner, who was completing yearly reports, discovered Trimble was making significantly more money than his co-workers. Trimble, who was an employee of the business, had allegedly been embezzling money over the course of several months. Charges were filed in District Court; after signing his copy of the summons, Trimble was released pending trial.
